Block of the Month Reunion - Saturday May 17th at 2pm.
Were you one of the Manos del Uruguay Four Seasons Blanket Block-of-the-Month knitters? Show us your blanket!! Bring in your Finished (or not-so-Finished?that's okay too!) Object!

Quick Classes
Introducing Quick classes: Stash will offer 1 hour drop-in classes on Saturdays from 1-2pm. Students will be shown 1 or 2 basic knitting skills such as the knit stitch, magic loop, or grafting (AKA "kitchenering"). No need to register ahead of time--just show up with yarn, needles, and 10 bucks, and we will take it from there. You can check out the classes offered in May below. Saturdays 1-2pm $10.00

Knit Night
Come join us for a respite from the over-planned, over-scheduled lives everyone seems to be living these days. Every Wednesday night we get together to socialize, knit, chat, show off our yarny triumphs, get sympathy for our yarny disasters, and basically just hang out. So please join us on Wednesdays @ 6:30pm- 9pm -- and bring your knitting! As always, Knit-Ins are free!

We have lots to list, and rather than admit we've forgotten some, we'll just say it would take too long to list them all but here's a good start:

• The Return of Noro and Debbie Bliss
• Back by popular demand: Noro and Debbie Bliss!! We have Kureyon, Silk Garden, Silk Garden Lite, and other Noro yarns.
• Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and Baby Cashmerino, as well as that DB tweedy one!
• Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, a gorgeous 30% silk/70% merino yarn in Manos colorways. Yay!
• Blue Sky Alpaca Skinny Cotton - Organically grown cotton yarn in a DK weight, soft with beautiful stitch definition. Ooh!!
• Karabella Cashmere - The same Karabella quality you love, now in cashmere. Come in, pet the yarn, adopt a few balls, and make your stash happy!!
• Karabella Merino Superwash - Please see above comments about Karabella Cashmere, and substitute "Superwash Wool."
• Chasing Rainbows Dyeworks - Such beautiful colors! Such nice fibers! We just got a shipment of Kona (a sport weight superwash wool) and Tugela (a mohair blend). Their sock yarn, a shimmery blend of tencel and superwash wool, comes already divided into two skeins, so you don't have to guess whether you're using too much on the first sock!
• Crystal Palace Sock Yarns - Three of the four we carry are part Bamboo: Panda Cotton, Panda Wool, and Panda Silk. The fourth is a corn yarn called Maizy. The bamboo yarns have that lovely bamboo sheen. The Panda Silk has the Bamboo Sheen plus the Silk Shine. It is very nice indeed. Maizy is a horse (sheep?) of a different color�the tones are more muted and subtle. It's a grabbier yarn than most, so if you're tired of sock yarn slipping off your needles, try Maizy!

Stash Gallery
Calling all Finished Objects. Show us your knits! We would like to take pictures of you and your Finished Objects and post them in the Gallery on our website. Bring your stuff into the store so we can take pictures!!

Yarn Tasting: Friday May 16 at 7pm
Wool/silk blends: Everyone seems to be blending wool and silk. Here's your chance to try some of these amazing yarns, including Fibre Company's Road to China, Crystal Palace's Panda Silk, and Manos Del Uruguay's Silk Blend. Yarn Tastings fill up quickly so call or drop in ahead of time to reserve your space and don't forget to bring your needles. $15.00 per person

Register for a Stash Class and get a 15% discount on all regularly priced class materials and purchases made during the class. Due to the popularity of some classes, we can't hold a spot for you without payment. (But you needn't come to the store to pay�we're happy to process your payment over the phone!)

Toe Up Sock: 4 Wednesdays: May 7, 14, 21and 28 6:30-7:30pm $65
A different spin on socks. Come learn to make a sock you can try on while you knit it. We will cover the basics of sock knitting including the magic cast on and the after-thought heel.

Baby Surprise Jacket: 4 Wednesdays, June 4, 11, 18 and 25th. 7pm-8pm $65
Back by popular demand, Elizabeth Zimmerman's classic one piece baby jacket. This ingenious little sweater only requires two little shoulder seams and a few buttons to finish it. A great baby shower gift.
